Keep Calm, Your Momager Got It!

I would like to dedicate this article to the best and biggest dog lovers in the world – the Momagers.  In my fictional articles based on true stories, I often refer to them as “the biggest agency in the world called Momager”.

The word Momager is a blend of two words: Mom and Manager. A Momager is therefore, a manager who is also one’s mother. While some dog owners prefer to be rather called hooman or human, others describe themselves as dog moms. In any case, these wonderful ladies, and sometimes gentlemen, are crazy drunk in love with their pawsome companions.

Dogs are one of a kind animals when it comes to their devotion, loyalty and friendship. Anyone who has ever had a dog can confirm it. Owning a dog is also a responsibility and a commitment. Having a dog requires time, dedication and management. Dog Momagers masterly manage every aspect of their dogs’ lives by going above and beyond for their fluffy darlings.

These awesome dog lovers are also responsible for the amazing pictures you see on Instagram as well as here, on Fluff & Stuff. It’s almost impossible to describe how creative, original and hilarious many of them are. They bring joy, happiness, laughs, entertainment and brighten up our days with the stunning images and captions.

Enjoy a few selected images of dogs with their wonderful Momagers and read their touching stories:

For years our mom and dad tried to have human children, and were never able to. They tried many procedures and surgeries, but were both left heartbroken when those options failed. Also during that time, two of the dogs that they had (a Great Dane and a yorkie) pasted away. It was a very sad time for them, so right after Christmas in 2007 they decided it was time for a new puppy and that was when I (Gus) came into their lives… They tell me that I’m their lifesaver. Now, I’m not exactly sure what that means, but I do know that they both smiled a lot when they looked at me. Rosie came into our lives many years later, and now we feel like we are just as much a family as those with human parents and human children. Our Mom loves that she can cuddle and care for us, and that we need her. @gus_and_rosie

I have to admit, being a fur-mom isn’t a cake walk. It’s a ton of work and responsibility… However, it has brought me more joy and love into my life than I ever could have imagined. I am so thankful for everyday I get to spend with this guy! @laurenrenel

Wherever we go, whatever we do, you know that I’m happy just being with you! We could play, take a walk, or ride in the car…my favorite place is wherever you are. @maizymoo_theshihtzu

My sweet Norman is the greatest thing that has ever happened to me. We found eachother when we needed it most. I spend every single day with laughter because of him, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Describing our bond through words is so hard- so we take pictures! @norman_oes

I may not have a mother in the conventional way, but i have 2 hoomans who love me and my brother and 3 sisters more than anything. They rescued each of us from not so great situations and now we’re one big happy family. We may drive them crazy sometimes, but it’s worth it because we teach them how to be better people and love unconditionally. @mervinthechihuahua

After 14 years with Puck life felt empty when she passed away in my arms in 2011. Then I saw you for the first time 5 months old but still wobbly on your feet. Had to check if you was OK, but as soon as my hand got near you you rolled over and wanted a belly rub. I picked you up and held you close, and you snuggled up tight comfortable, warm and filling the space in my heart. I put you on the floor and you spring to life as if saying play with me, I will bring you joy, happiness and make you forget your troubles. We take you home, and after the initial sleepless nights from barking, chewing, scratching we know these are growing pains. I miss you when we are apart, but I know that as soon as I come through the door you are always there to greet me with a welcoming smile. You have brought so much into my life and I hope you know how much I love you even if you snore, snort and fart. @chalky0528

People always ask me where (or from whom) I bought Miku, and the answer is that she’s adopted, of course! She’s the best and most perfect dog in the world; she doesn’t have a mean bone in her body and I swear she might secretly be a unicorn. Please consider adopting, if you’re looking for a furry companion. There are so many precious animals in need of a loving home, and it’s the most rewarding experience. @keikolynn

Buddha has been my best friend for the last 8 years! We have traveled the world together and fallen in love, not only with an awesome guy but also with everything the world has to offer. From Istanbul, Turkey to Japan and back to the U.S. in a few short months, I would have never even considered doing it without Buddha! @buddhathepug
