While all dogs pant with their tongue sticking out to regulate their body temperature, there are some dogs who always stick out their tongue. Some of you might wonder why some dogs stay sticking out their tongue?
The most logical and obvious reason that came to my mind – their visual hotness and ridiculously good looks. They just can’t help their cuteness. Therefore, sticking out their tongue is the only way for them to cool down.
After conducting a little research, I found out that hanging tongue is also a condition called Hanging Tongue Syndrome. In that case, the hanging tongue is something dogs can’t control. They just can’t pull their tongue all the way into their mouth. This could be due to the dog’s breed, a mouth or jaw injury as well as deformities of the mouth or teeth. Hanging tongue is more common for smaller dog breeds. It’s not a life threatening condition for a dog but it could cause their beholders a serious cuteness attack.
